NOTE
Air dryer heater cuts in
at 32F (0C) and shuts off
between 55-75F (31-42C).
A failed air dryer heater
will not affect operation
of purge valve if vehicle
is operating at temperature
above freezing.
(1)
Start engine (TM 9-2320-366-10-1).
(2)
Bring engine to operating temperature.
(3)
Check bottom (heater) housing on air dryer.
(4)
If housing is not warm, heater is not receiving
power or is faulty.
(5) Shut down engine (TM 9-2320-366-10-1).
