TM 9-2320-366-20-2
(1) Set multimeter to ohms.
(2) Connect positive (+) probe of multimeter
to connector P114-9.
(3) Connect negative (-) probe of multimeter to
all other sockets of connector P114, one
at a time, and note reading on multimeter.
(4) Connect positive (+) probe of multimeter
to connector P114-10.
(5) Connect negative (-) probe of multimeter
to all other sockets of connector P114,
one at a time, and note reading on
multimeter.
(6) Connect positive (+) probe of multimeter
to connector P114-25.
(7) Connect negative (-) probe of multimeter to
all other sockets of connector P114
(except P114-13), one at a time, and note
reading on multimeter.
(8) If continuity is present in step 3, 5, or 7,
replace WTEC III cab transmission harness
(para 7-138).
(9) If no short circuits are found, replace
WTEC III transmission ECU (para 8-7).
(10) Connect connector P114 to WTEC III
transmission ECU.
(11) Connect connector clamp on connector
P114.
(12) Install kick panel (para 16-3).
(13) Connect connector P119 to connector
J119.
(14) Position front grille on cab with washer
and screw.
(15) Position two washers and screws in front
grille.
(16) Tighten screw to 48-60 lb-in. (5-7 Nm).
(17) Tighten two screws to 24 lb-in. (3 Nm).
(18) Clear diagnostic codes (para 8-5).
