7-47. MAIN JUNCTION BOX ASSEMBLY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (CONT).

WARNING

Adhesives, solvents, and sealing

compounds can burn easily, can give off

harmful vapors, and are harmful to skin

and clothing. To avoid injury or death,

keep away from open fire and use in

well-ventilated area. If adhesive, solvent,

or sealing compound gets on skin or

clothing, wash immediately with soap and

water.

Apply sealing compound to threads of

adapter (24).

Install wire (25), adapter (24), and

nut (26) in main junction box (2).

Apply sealing compound to threads of adapter (27).

Install wire (28), adapter (27), and nut (29) in main junction box (2).

Install two wires (25 and 28) on terminal board (6) with lockwasher (30) and nut (31).
