(3) Burn test.
FRAME 1
B e sure control switch (1) is in OFF position. Flip HI-LO switch (2) to HI

position.
2.
S t a r t timing and hold control switch (1) in START position. Heater (3) should
s t a r t in 40 seconds.  F l i p control switch (1) to RUN position.
I f heater (3) does not start, replace igniter. Refer to paras 19-19c and e.
3.
L o o k inside heater (3) for fuel leaks.  I f leaks are found, stop testing.
4.
R e p a i r leak.  R e f e r to para c, d, and e.
Pilot lamp (4) will glow
F l a m e detector switch should transfer in 200 seconds.
5.
w h e n transfer takes place.
I f transfer does not take place, a d j u s t or get new flame detector switch.
6.
R e f e r to para 19-19c, d, and e.
L e t heater (3) burn on HI heat for about a minute. Flip HI-LO switch (2)
7.
t o LO position.  B u r n i n g should be less and blower motor should run slower.
I f heater (3) goes out, a new fuel control valve must be put on.
R e f e r to
8.
p a r a 19-19c and d.  T h e n do this frame again.
F l i p control switch (1) to OFF position.  F u e l flow should stop and burning
9.
s h o u l d stop in 30 seconds.  B l o w e r should still run for more than one minute,
b u t less than three minutes.  B l o w e r should stop all by itself.
1 0 . If blower does not run as in step 9, do step 6.
