NOTE
A suitable container (3) to catch overflow is needed for
this test.
H o l d fuel outlet (1) of fuel control valve (2) over overflow container (3).
1.
F l i p control switch (5) to RUN
B e sure HI-LO switch (4) is in LO position.
2.
p o s i t i o n . F u e l pump should be pumping.
F l i p HI-LO switch (4) to HI position. L e t fuel flow into overflow container (3)
3.
f o r a few seconds. F l i p HI-LO switch (4) to LO position.
One or two drops may form but fuel
L o o k at fuel outlet (1) for one minute.
4.
f l o w must be completely stopped.
F l i p control switch (5) to OFF position.
D o steps 1 through 4 again.
5.
I f fuel flow does not stop completely when HI-LO switch (4) is flipped to LO
6.
p o s i t i o n , get a new fuel control valve.
IF FUEL CONTROL VALVE PASSES TEST, GO TO FRAME 4.
IF FUEL CONTROL VALVE FAILS TEST, GO TO FRAME 6
