CAUTION
Do not use anything but a warm hand to warm up
t h e r m o s t a t ( 1 ) . Flame or high heat will cause
t h e r m o s t a t to lose calibration.
1.
Hold warm hand on thermostat (1) for five minutes to warm it to 75F or
higher.
U s i n g an ohmmeter, check continuity through thermostat (1). Place one

o h m m e t e r lead on terminal (2) and other ohmmeter lead on terminal (3).
I f circuit is closed, go to frame 5.
I f circuit is open, go to step 4.

CAUTION
Do not place thermostat (1) or fuel control valve (4) in
a n y type of liquid to cool it. Thermostat and fuel control
v a l v e are not sealed from liquids.
P l a c e fuel control valve (4) in refrigerator set to 20F for 30 minutes.

Do step 2 again.
5.
IF CIRCUIT IS OPEN, GO TO FRAME 5.
IF CIRCUIT IS CLOSED, GO TO FRAME 4
