Removal of Inner Boom.

FRAME 1
WARNING
I n n e r boom (1) must be held up at sheave end when
p u l l i n g it out of outer boom (2). If this is not done,
o u t e r boom can tilt and cause injury.
Take out four screws and lockwashers (3).

T a k e off boom stop (4).
Do steps 1 and 2 again on other side of outer boom (2).

P u t chain sling (5) in place on sheave end of inner boom (1) and

j o i n chain sling to chain hoist (6) on A-frame (7).
T a k e out cotter pin (8).

U s i n g chain hoist (6), raise and lower inner boom (1) to keep ten -
