Be careful when handling boom elevating cylinder. It
i s heavy and can cause injury to personnel.
NOTE
Using scriber, s c r i b e marks on snubber valve (1), fitting
( 2 ) , and cylinder (4) so that they are put back in the same
place.

Take off snubber valve (1).
2.
Take off fitting (2).
U n s c r e w packing nut (3) and take cylinder head assembly (4) from

cylinder assembly (5).
P u l l piston rod assembly (6) out of cylinder assembly (5).
