FRAME

Check that piston rod (1) is not bent, burred or scratched. If scratches or

b u r r s cannot be filed off with a fine mill file, use a new piston rod.

C h e c k that cylinder assembly (2) is not cracked and that cylinder head threads

a r e not damaged. C h e c k that inside of cylinder assembly is not scored. If

c y l i n d e r assembly is damaged, get a new one.

C h e c k that piston (3) is not scored and does not show other signs of wear. If

p i s t o n is damaged, get a new one.

C h e c k that packing nut (4), cylinder head (5), and nut (6) do not have

d a m a g e d t h r e a d s . I f they are damaged, get new ones.
