Soldier A 1.
Take out four screws (1) and lockwashers (2).
2.
Take off bearing retaining cap (3) and gasket (4). Throw away
gasket.
Soldier B 3.
Put gearcase (5) on arbor press.
4.
H o l d gearcase (5) with one hand. With other hand, catch worm
a n d shaft assembly (6) when it is pressed out.
Soldier A 5.
P r e s s worm and shaft assembly (6) out of gearcase (5).
