Take out cotter pin (1).

NOTE
I f clevis pin (2) is rusted in place, drive it out.
T a k e out clevis pin (2).
2.
Do steps 1 and 2 again at rear end of hand lever rod assembly ( 3 ) .
Take

o u t hand lever rod assembly.
