T a k e out two bearings (1) from front cover (2). Refer to Part 1, para 7-7.

T a g bearings (1) to make sure they will be put back in the same places.
T a k e out seal adapter (3) with preformed packings (4 and 5).

T a k e off preformed packings (4 and 5) from seal adapter (3). Throw away
preformed packings.
