Soldier A 1.
Put hoist chains (1) on cable drum (2). Using hoist, raise cable drum.
Soldier B 2.
Pull off end frame (3).
Using seal puller and hammer, take off seal (4).

Take off thrust washer (5) and sleeve (6).

NOTE
Do not take out bushing (7) unless it is worn or damaged.
R e f e r to para 17-16 d for inspection procedures.
Take out bushing (7).

Soldiers

Using hoist, lower cable drum (2) to working surface. Take off hoist
A and B
chains (1).
