P u t six locknuts (1) on six screws (2).
2.
P u t two inner springs (3) and two outer springs (4) in place on two long
bolts (5).
P u t two washers (6) and two nuts (7) onto two long bolts (5).
3.
D o steps 1 through 3 again on other side of truck.

NOTE
Follow-on Maintenance Action Required:
1.
Replace splash shields. Refer to para 16-16.
2.
Replace tailgate. Refer to para 16-29.
R e p l a c e taillights and brackets. Refer to
