P u t washer (1) on cross tube (2) with tab (3) in keyway (4).

B u m p on nut (5) should aline with a hole on washer (1). If it does not, turn
n u t to the right. Line up bump with next hole.
P u t on nut (6).

P u l l down on scale (7) until spring seat just starts to turn and read scale.
I f reading is not between 24 and 32 pounds, unscrew nut (6), take off washer
(1), and do frame 4 again.
