I n s p e c t i o n and Repair.

( a ) Check brackets, supports, and crossmember for cracks, breaks and

distortion.

Check for loose rivets and screws.

( b ) Fix minor damage by straightening or welding. If rivets or screws

a r e missing, get new ones. R e f e r to TM 9-237.

( c ) I f b r a c k e t s , b r a c e s , s u p p o r t s and crossmembers have major

d a m a g e , get new ones.

s u p p o r t b r a c k e t ( 3 ) . R e f e r to TB 9-2300-247-40.
