NOTE
Transmission for M543A2 truck has two oil seals
(1). Transmission on all other trucks has only
o n e oil seal.
1.
Put oil seal (1) in place in clutch housing (2).
2.
S t a r t clutch release shaft (3) from left side of clutch housing (2). Slide
c l u t c h release shaft about six inches into housing.
3.
Hold clutch release yoke (4) in place. Slide clutch release shaft (3).
t h r o u g h clutch release yoke.
4.
P u t two keys (5) into position in each bottom end of clutch release yoke
(4) and slide shaft into right shaft bore in clutch housing (2).
5.
Put in two screws (6) and lockwashers (7).
