Using pliers, unhook brake pedal return spring (1).

Using pliers, take out and throw away cotter pin (2).
Pull out clevis pin (3).
3.
Using 9/16-inch wrenches, unscrew and take off nut (4).
4.
Take out cap-
screw (5) and pull out lever shaft tube (6).
5.
Take out brake pedal lever (7).
