Place brakeshoe (1) and lever (2) assembly on brake drum (3) as shown.
Screw bolt (4) through outer brakeshoe (5) into transfer cover (6).

Screw on and hand tighten nut (7).
4.
Push lever (2) to left and, using 1 5/16-inch wrench, tighten bolt (4)
until there is a slight bind when lever is moved. Then back off bolt
l/2-turn.
5. Using 7/16-inch wrench, tighten nut (7).
