Working undertrick, using 3/4-inch wrench, loosen adjusting rod locknut (l).

Using flat-tip screwdriver, pry adjusting rod clevis pin (2) out of adjusting
rod clevis (3). Clevis pin does not come all the way out of clevis.
3. Pull adjusting rod clevis (3) away from release shaft remote control lever (4).
