(2) Scan/stab selector - 120.
(3) Antenna tilt control - 0.
(4) BRT control - As required
for best display.
c. Preflight test procedure:
(1) After approximately 70
seconds. the test pattern
should appear. then check
for the following items:
d. There should be five equally
spaced range marks.
e. Amber fault lamp should be
illuminated.
f. There should be no "noise"
appearing on the display.
g. There should be two distinct
brightness levels appearing on
the screen.
h. Starting at the lower center of
the display, there should be
five bands extending outward.
They should be:
(1) Light shading.
(2) lntermediate shading.
(3) Dark or contour arca.
(4) lntermediate shading.
(5) Light shading.
i. Strobe line (antenna position)
should move across the indi-
cator screen through the full
