Install

(1)

Fit the pinch roller cylinder (1) to the pinch roller cylinder bracket (6) and secure in place

with the four lock washers (9) and screws (8).

(2)

Fit the pinch roller bracket (6) complete with pinch roller cylinder (1) to the launch frame (7)

and secure in place with the two screws (3), washers (4) and new nyloc nuts (5).

(3)

Fit the hydraulic pipe (2) to the pinch roller cylinder (1) with the sealing washer (13) and

bolt (12).

Follow on tasks

(1)

Check and top up, if necessary, the hydraulic oil level at the hydraulic reservoir.

(2)

Switch the battery shutoff switch to the on position.

Turn the pinch roller manifold ball valve through 900. See Appendix F, page 19, figure 9 for

location.

Cover the bleed screw (10) with a clean cloth to catch any fluid and prevent spraying. Open

the bleed screw (10) half a turn until any air is released.

(5)

Close the bleed screw (10).

(6)

Repeat steps 4 and 5 if necessary to ensure that any air is released.

(7)

Check the operation of the pinch roller cylinder (1).

(8)

Check for hydraulic oil leaks.
