NOTE

A launch frame emergency stop is fitted to each side of the launch frame.

Remove

(1)

Remove the harness fitted to the emergency stop body (5).

(2)

Remove the four screws (1) securing the cover (2) to the emergency stop body (5).

(3)

Remove the cover (2) and retain the seal (3).

(4)

Remove the four nyloc nuts (8), washers (7) and bolts (4) securing the emergency stop

body (5) to the launch frame (6).

(5)

Remove the emergency stop body (5).

(6)

Examine all threaded components for wear and damage.

(7)

Check the electrical cable (15) for damage.

(8)

If required remove the four screws (12) and nyloc nuts (13) to remove the military

connector (14).

(9)

Remove the screws (11 and 9) securing the ground cable (10) to the emergency stop body

(5) and cover (2).

(10)

Remove the ground cable (10).

(11)

Note the position of and remove the cables (15) from the contactors (16).

(12)

Remove the contactors (16) by pressing down on the catch (17).

(13)

Remove the carrier (18) from the emergency stop switch (22).

(14)

Remove the locking plate (20) from the emergency stop switch (22) by turning the locking

screw (19) counter-clockwise.

(15)

Remove the emergency stop switch (22) complete with seal (21) from the cover (2).

Install

(1)

If removed earlier, fit the emergency stop switch (22) complete with seal (21) to the cover

(2).

(2)

Fit the locking plate (20) to the emergency stop switch (22).

(3)

Turn the locking screw (19) clockwise and tighten.

(4)

Fit the carrier (18) to the emergency stop switch (22).

(5)

Fit the contactors (16) to the carrier (18).

(6)

Fit the cables (15) to the contactors (16) in the positions noted during removal.

(7)

Fit the military connector (14) to the emergency stop body (5) with the screws (12) and new

nyloc nuts (13).

(8)

Fit the ground cable (10) to the cover (2) and emergency stop body (5) with the screws (9

and 11).

(9)

Fit the emergency stop body (5) to the launch frame (6) with the four bolts (4), washers (7)

and nyloc nuts (8).

(10)

Fit the seal (3) and cover (2) to the emergency stop body (5). Check that the seal (3) is

fitted correctly.

(11)

Secure the cover (2) with the four screws (1).
