NOTE

Four threaded holes, two on either side on the launch beam drive, allow for the swivel load

ring (1) to be fitted in the best position for attaching a fall arrest harness when carrying out

maintenance on the DSB.

Remove

(1)

Remove the bolt (3) and washer (4) securing the swivel load ring (1) to the launch beam

drive (2).

(2)

Remove the swivel load ring (1).

Install

(1)

Ensure the threaded hole is clean.

(2)

Apply thread locking compound to the bolt (3).

(3)

Secure the swivel load ring (1) to the launch beam drive (2) with the washer (4) and bolt

(3).

(4)

Torque tighten the bolt (3) to 74 lb/ft (100 Nm).
