Eye shields must be worn when using compressed air.

NOTE

P l a c e drip pan under engine before air supply is turned

o n . All six nozzles will have an oil stream but only one

can be adjusted at a time. L e a v e air pressure on only

a s long as needed to check nozzle adjustment.

T u r n on air supply and check oil stream from piston cooling nozzle (1). Stream

must hit center of piston cooling port (2). Turn off air supply.

I f cooling nozzle (1) adjustment is not correct, aim the nozzle and do step 1

again.

D o frames 2 and 3 again for other five cylinders.
