FRAME

C h e c k that 13 studs (1), eight studs (2), three studs (3), and two pipe plugs

( 4 ) are not stripped or damaged in any other way. If parts are damaged, get

a new part.

C h e c k that flywheel housing (5) is not cracked, bent or has minor nicks, burrs

o r scratches on gasket surfaces. T a k e off small nicks, burrs or scratches

with a fine mill file or crocus cloth. I f more repair is needed, get a new fly-

wheel housing.
