C h e c k that four oil tubes (1) do not have dents, cracks, loose flanges or

f l a t t e n e d areas, and that screen (2) is not cracked, torn or loose or

d a m a g e d in any other way. I f tubes or screen are damaged, get a new tube.

C h e c k that mounting flanges (3) and tube flange (4) are not warped. Fix

m i n o r warpage by working flange across a sheet of crocus cloth held tightly

o n a flat surface. I f more repair is needed, get a new part.
