WARNING
Wear appropriate eye protection
when working under vehicle and
around CTIS system due to the
possibility of falling and/or
blown debris. Failure to comply
may result in injury to personnel.
NOTE
CTIS ECU checks tire pressure 30
seconds after completing a
pressure change sequence. If tire
pressures are the same, system
reverts to checking pressure every
15 minutes. If tires are losing
pressure, ECU inflates tires and
checks pressure again in 30
seconds. If CTIS has to repeat this
process more than 10 times, ECU
will display four flashing lights.
(1) Measure and record the tire pressure of
each tire (TM 9-2320-366-10-1).
(2) If front tire(s) have lower pressure than the
rest, kneeling valve, tire or CTIS wheel valve
is faulty.
(3) If rear tire(s) have lower pressure than the
rest, tire or CTIS wheel valve is faulty.
