FRAME

Check that o u t e r boom (1) has no broken welds, and that it is not bent or

damaged.

Check that b o o m sheave pin (2) is not bent or damaged.

Check that t w o pivot pin bushings (3) are not damaged. Check that boom

s h e a v e pin ( 2 ) turns freely but not loosely in pivot pin bushings.

Check that t w o sheave assemblies (4) are not cracked, broken or damaged.

C h e c k that f o u r sheave assembly bearings (5) are not damaged. Refer to

P a r t 1, para 7-7.
