CONDITION:

T r u c k parked, engine off, handbrake set.

CAUTION

When operating the crowd control lever so as to

e x t e n d the boom, be careful not to jam the crane

b l o c k into the boom sheaves. P u s h i n g the crowd

a n d hoist control levers away from the operator

t o g e t h e r will eliminate this possibility and will cause

the cable hook to maintain a constant distance from

t h e boom head as the boom is extended.

( 2 ) S t o p e n g i n e . M o v e boom control lever back and forth to take hydraulic

p r e s s u r e o f f c y l i n d e r s . R e f e r to TM 9-2320-211-10.
