C h e c k that four bearings (1 and 2) are not damaged. Refer to Part 1, para 7-7.

C h e c k that upper (thin) thrust washer (3), lower (thick) thrust washer (4),

a n d two thrust bushings (5) are not scored or damaged in any other way.

C h e c k that two springs (6) are not broken.
