WARNING
Dry cleaning solvent is flammable. Do not use near an
open flame. Keep a fire extinguisher nearby when solvent
is used. Use only in well-ventilated places. Failure to
do this may result in injury to personnel and damage to
equipment.
Do not use compressed air to dry bearings or allow bear-
ings to spin while drying. Spinning bearings may explode,
causing injury to personnel and damage to equipment.
C l e a n bearings (1). Refer to Part 1, para 7-7.

Clean all parts except brake band assembly (2) with solvent. Make sure that grease
passages are open and clean.
Let all parts dry.
