Put a coat of grease on shims (1) to keep them from falling while putting them

P u t winch tensioner assembly (2) and shims (1) in place as noted.

U s i n g two punches, a l i n e holes in winch tensioner assembly (2) and

P u t in four screws (3) with lockwashers (4).

NOTE
Follow-on Maintenance Action Required:
1.
R e p l a c e winch cable back on winch drum. Refer to
T M 9-2320-211-20.
2.
G r e a s e and oil winch tensioner assembly. Refer to
L O 9-2320-211-12.
