C l e a n i n g , Inspection, and Repair.

WARNING

D r y cleaning solvent is flammable. Do not use near

an open flame. Keep a fire extinguisher nearby when

s o l v e n t is used. Use only in well-ventilated places.

Failure to do this may result in injury to personnel

and damage to equipment.

(1) Cleaning.

Clean parts in solvent.

( 2 ) Inspection and Repair. C h e c k that bumper, upper reinforcing gussets, and

l o w e r reinforcing gussets are not cracked, broken or bent. Repair by

s t r a i g h t e n i n g or welding. Refer to TM 9-237.

Replacement.

FRAME 1

Hold lower reinforcing gusset (1) in place.

Put in screw (2) and nut (3).

Hold upper reinforcing gusset (4) in place.

Put in screw (5) and nut (6).

Do steps 1 through 4 again to put on upper reinforcing gusset (7) and lower

r e i n f o r c i n g gusset (8).
