Clean all parts before inspection and after repair.
There are no special cleaning procedures needed. Refer to
cleaning procedures given in Part 1, para 1-3.
CAUTION
I f steering jacket bearing was not taken out, do
n o t clean jacket. Bearing lubrication will b e
t a k e n out if bearing is cleaned with solvent.
