Hold end plate (1) when taking off C-clamps (2). Parts
a r e under spring tension and can cause injury to
personnel.
1.
H o l d down end plate (1) and take off two C-clamps (2).
Take end plate (1), spring (3), piston rod, and washer (4) off piston (5).
2.
T a k e seal (6) off end plate (1).
3.
T a k e washer (7) off piston rod (4). Pry off snapring (8). Take off

spring (3).
T a k e piston (5) out of vise.
