Put hands over defroster deflectors (1). Little or no warm air flow will be

felt. If not, adjust cable. Refer to para 21-8.
2.
Pull out DEFROSTER knob (2) until it stops.
3.
Put hands over defroster deflectors (1). Strong warm air flow will be felt. If
not, adjust cable. Refer to para 21-8.
4. Set heater switch (3) to OFF position.
5. Push in DEFROSTER knob (2) and AIR knob (4).
NOTE
Follow-on Maintenance Action Required:
Stop engine. Refer to TM 9-2320-211-10.
