HEADLIGHT DIMMER ELECTRICAL SWITCH REMOVAL
AND
REPLACEMENT.
Cross-tip screwdriver (Phillips type)

SUPPLIES:
PERSONNEL: Two
Truck parked, engine off, handbrake set.
EQUIPMENT
CONDITION:
a.
Preliminary Procedure.
Disconnect battery ground cable. Refer to para 7-44.
Removal.
b.
From underneath left front fender, hold dimmer switch (1).
Soldier A 1.
Using screwdriver, unscrew and take out two screws (2) and
Soldier B 2.
two lockwashers (3).
Pull switch (1) down.
Soldier A 3.
NOTE
Tag three connectors (4) before taking them off to be
sure they are put back in right place.
4.
Twist and pull three connectors (4) from switch (1).
