1-6. CHARACTERISTICS, CAPABILITIES AND FEATURES.
a. Characteristics.  The maintenance platform can be raised or
lowered to allow maintenance personnel to work at various heights.
The platform is provided with side and end rails which must be properly
installed prior to raising the platform.  The physical characteristics
are listed in table 1-1.
b. Capabilities.  The maintenance platform can be raised by hand or
by power tool and can be towed from one maintenance location to
another.
c. Features.  The maintenance platform can be folded for transport
and storage.  Platform design requires minimum maintenance.
