Install
(1)
If removed earlier, apply thread locking compound to the screws (8 and 11).
(2)
Fit the side wear pad to section 1 (3) and align the screw holes.
(3)
Secure the side wear pad (10) in position with the screws (11).
(4)
Fit the wear pads (9) to section 1 (3 and 5) and secure with the screws (8).
(5)
Align and insert Slide Frame Section one (5) into Section two (7).
(6)
Align and insert Slide Frame Section one (3) into Section two (2).
(7)
When Section one (5 and 3) has been inserted, six feet, fit the Stop Pads (6) to Section two
(7 and 2). See unit maintenance procedure 5-080.
(8)
Fully insert Section one (5 and 3).
(9)
Install the relax mechanism upper cross member (4). See direct support maintenance
procedure 6-039.
(10)
Connect the Slide Frame to the vehicle. See operator's manual TM 5-5420-279-10.
(11)
Remove the Slide Frame Support (1).

(1)
Carry out a full operation check of the Slide Frame in accordance with the Operator's
Manual.
