Fit the top layer of the energy chain (12). See unit maintenance procedure 5-097.

Fit the fixed walkway (3, 4 and 5) to the rear of the sliding frame, adjacent to the A-Frame.

Fit the stabilizer feet to the A-Frame stabilizer legs. See unit maintenance procedure 5-021.

Fit the access ladders (2, 6 and 8) to the A-Frame.

Fit the launch frame see direct support maintenance procedure 6-018.

Follow on tasks

(1)

Switch the battery shutoff switch to the on position.

(2)

Carry out a full operation check of the of the A-Frame assembly in accordance with the

operator's manual TM 5-5420-279-10.

(3)

Check for hydraulic oil leaks.
