Lift cylinder

Remove the bolt (12) and washer (11) securing the lift cylinder (19) pivot pin (10) to the tail

lift.

Remove snap ring (13).

Remove the pivot pin (10).

Pull the lift cylinder (19) clear of the tail lift.

Note the position of the bellows (17) and slacken off the adjustable clamp (16 and 18).

Pull the bellows (17) away from the lift cylinder (19) to expose the piston (15).

Note and mark the position of the piston pivot (14) on the piston (15).

Hold the piston (15) with a suitable wrench and remove the piston pivot (14).

Remove the jubilee clip (16) and bellows (17).

Install

Tilt Cylinder

(1)

Fit the bellows (6) and jubilee clip (5) to the tilt cylinder (9).

(2)

Hold the piston (8) with a suitable wrench and fit the piston pivot (4) to the tilt cylinder (9) in

the position noted during removal.

(3)

Fit the bellows (6) to the tilt cylinder (9) and piston pivot (4) in the position noted during

removal.

(4)

Fit the adjustable clamp (7 and 5) to the bellows (6) and tighten.

Fit the tilt cylinder (9) to the tail lift and secure in place with the pivot pin (1).

(6)

Apply thread locking compound to the bolt (3).

(7)

Secure the pivot pin (1) in place with the washer (2) and bolt (3).

Lift cylinder

Fit the bellows (17) and jubilee clip (16) to the lift cylinder (19).

(9)

Hold the piston (15) with a suitable wrench and fit the piston pivot (14) to the lift cylinder

(19) in the position noted during removal.

Fit the bellows (17) to the lift cylinder (19) and piston pivot (14) in the position noted during

removal.

(11)

Fit the adjustable clamp (18 and 16) to the bellows (17) and tighten.

(12)

Fit the tilt cylinder (19) to the tail lift and secure in place with the pivot pin (10).

(13)

Apply thread locking compound to the bolt (12).

(14)

Secure the pivot pin (10) in place with the washer (11) and bolt (12) and snap ring (13).
