CRUSH INJURY. THE SUPPORT BEARING PAD WEIGHS 56LB (25.4KG).

Remove

(1)

Disengage retaining clip (6) and remove support bearing pad (2) complete with ball joint

(3), washer (4) and pin (5).

(2)

Remove two spring pins (8) from bearing pad retaining clip (6), on the far bank support.

(3)

Remove retaining clip (6) and the two compression springs (7) from the far bank support.

(4)

Remove the pin (5) and washer (4).

(5)

Remove the ball joint (3) from the support bearing pad (2).

(6)

Examine components for damage and corrosion.

(7)

Check springs are of comparable length.

(8)

Replace components as required.
