When loads are applied to the boom cable, all personnel must move
away to a safe distance. If the bad falls, it could cause serious injury
or death to personnel.
Always wear heavy leather gloves when handling wire rope. Never
let wire rope run through hands. Frayed wire rope can cut hands.
