(1) Wholesale Stock Upon receipt of this TB, all items listed in paragraph 7 located in wholesale
depot storage shall be destroyed in accordance with paragraph 10d. Report compliance with this TB IAW
(2) Retail Stock.  Upon receipt of this TB commanders and others maintaining retail stock at
installation level and below shall contact the supported aviation unit to perform the inspection required by
paragraph 8. Any paragraph 7 components found in retail stock are to be disposed IAW paragraph 10d.
Report compliance with this TB IAW paragraph 14d (2).
g.  Components/Pads in work (Depot level and Others). Items listed in paragraph 7 will be scrapped

4. Summary of the Problem
a. The swashplate linkage, clevis connector, P/N 70400-08151-050, manufactured be Airborne Ap-
parel, cage code 2A622, has not been tested due to non-availability of parts, and must be removed from ser-
vice. Engineering estimates that 100 hours of additional service is acceptable without incurring a significant
risk due to this component.

c. The purpose of this TB is to remove and dispose of all swashplate linkage, clevis connectors, P/N
70400-08151-050, manufactured by Airborne Apparel, cage 2A622.

8. Inspection Procedures. Check aircraft records and verify visually that swashplate linkage, clevis connec-
tor, P/N 70400-08151-050 manufactured by Airborne Apparel (Cage 2A622) is installed on the aircraft. lf
the specified swashplate linkage, clevis connector, is not found, the inspection is complete (Report Per Para-
graph 14b). If the specified swashplate linkage, clevis connector is identified, correct in accordance with para-
graph 9. The cage number can be found on a label which should be located on the lower portion of the clevis
connector.
9. Correction Procedures.  Replace all swashplate linkage, clevis connectors, P/N 70400-08151-050,
manufactured by Airborne Apparel (Cage 2A622), using normal maintenance practices IAW TM
1-1520-237-23, paragraph 11.29.27, and TM 1-1520-250-23, paragraph 11.25.27 and dispose of para-
graph 7 items IAW paragraph 10d. The replacement is to be accomplished during the next schedule mainte-
nance but not later than the next 100-hour inspection or one year from the date of this TB whichever comes
first.
10. Supply/Parts and Disposition.
a. Parts Required.
Swashplate linkage, connecting link, P/N 70400-08151-061, NSN
3040-01-287-2438, quantity of 1 each may be required to replace paragraph 7 swashplate linkage clevis
connector, manufactured by airborne apparel (cage 2A622).
b.  Requisitioning Instructions. Contact logistical point of contact in paragraph 16b for requisitioning
instructions. Requisition replacement parts using project code XDM.
